'WINTER SOLSTICE' Ritual Candles

These candles were crafted to honor the Winter Solstice: the sacred turning point when darkness births the returning light again 🌑✨️🕯

Each set includes two ritual candles that were handmade and dressed with plants and herbs I gathered myself.
This pair is made to be burned as a symbol of death and rebirth, shadow and light + to honor the longest night of the year ✨️✨️

🖤The black candle features a crescent moon face + represents the darkest night of the year. It’s dressed with mistletoe, frankincense, pink pepper and rosemary: herbs that protect, purify + ward off evil. The silver drip symbolizes the stillness + mystery of the night ✨️

🤍 The White Candle bears a full moon face that symbolizs the return of the light after the darkness. It's adorned with mistletoe, ivy, spruce resin + frankincense: evergreens that remind us of life, endurance, rebirth + renewal. The golden wax drip represents the first rays of the newborn sun 🌞

They are wrapped together in twine as a symbolic union of darkness and light (take it off before you burn them).
